I am fairly sure that they are an SU type in line electric pump, i know the earlier pumps are under the car on the R/H/S have look there.

The fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank and will require a removal of the tank to replace. make sure you empty out the tank, so you can clean the tank before installing the new fuel pump.

The 82 Spur Fuel pump is not- in the tank

it is an inline electric pump located adjacent to the tank ( right rear )

please note the well known problem with the fuel pump fuse ( # 13 ) and its normal aftermarket replacement ( a breaker ) check the fuse board located in the drop down panel under the glove box - ( press the button on the far right panel )
