So been having issues with my Geo just bought it sprayed off the engine ever since the car seems sluggish found a vacuum line came off replaced but car still has issue either have to have the gas pedal down or let go no in between or car starts to jerk, think this is a sensor issue, also changed out valve over due to oil leak didn't move the cam tried to put the distribute cap back exactly as it came of but now car has a real bad time starting if I get it going car won't rev at all tried to at least drive it can't go above five mph. Have no money for mechanic please help if you can I'm a diy so at least lead me in a direction ill give it a try. Mr.J

JUST FOR GIGGLES

LET'S REMOVE THE DISTRIBUTOR CAP

TURN IT OVER (WITH THE SPARK PLUG WIRES STILL ON IT)

SEE IF IT HAS TEENY TINY WATER DROPLETS INSIDE OF IT

REGARDLESS, WIPE IT OUT WITH A DRY RAG, OR YOU CAN "SPRAY IT" INSIDE WITH WD-40 OR BRAKE CLEANER TO REMOVE THE WATER

LEAVE THE CAP OFF A FEW MINUTES, TO MAYBE ALLOW THE INSIDE OF THE DISTRIBUTOR TO DRY OUT A BIT

RE-INSTALL IT AND GIVE IT A WHIRL!

SOME REPLACEMENT DISTRIBUTOR CAPS, LIKE ON MY '77 JEEP CJ-5, ARE AVAILABLE WITH A VENT ON THE CAP, THIS ALLOWS MOISTURE TO ESCAPE

THINK YOU GOT IT COVERED?

LEMME KNOW HOW IT GOES
