Hi,

2.0 16v Monaco. Engine starts fine when cold but needs to be cranked for a while when it has been driven and the engine gets warm and has cooled down for about 5 minutes or more. It is OK if you start straight away after turning it off. TDC sensor has been changed and no errors on the diagnostics.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does the car have COP(coil on plug) or a coil pack and HT leads to plugs ... if it is coil pack ...replace the coil pack .. they break down when hot .. this should technically set a fault code .. but have seen it time an again where no code is set ...you could test for a bright blue spark when the fault next occurs to be sure .. if it's not blue .. it's not working correctly !!
