Clio windscreen wipers

I have a 2000 renault clio alize
i am trying to remove the windscreen wiper arms & when i have removed the nut at the bottom of the wiper i can't get the arm off
can anyone help?

use a flat head screwdriver to pry them off or a good pair of grips ..
