1996 Megane 1.6. Key fob circuit board IR sender solder broken.

Question: Can immobiliser be turned off to allow me to drive car to dealer to get key sorted.

This key fob issue is returning one; spent £140 for new key 12 months ago and within six months it had failed.

if you have the 4 digit code in the handbook you can override the immobolizer ... if not, it has to be via diagnostic computer !
