2002 Renault Megane 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 50000 miles

Hi,

Recently the clutch for my car was repalced with new clutch, and I had breakdown cover with parts & labor. Since the clutch was disputed between garage, breakdown cover insurer and me, I had to send the old clutch from my car to the insurer for their review. This was made known to the garage during the repair, but the garage said the clutch was put in the scrap yard, while still the repair work was going on with my car.

My question is, how many days the car garage should keep any spares that was removed from the car with them before they dispose it off to scrapyard?
