1999 Renault Megane a knocking sound from wheels

hi there, i have a knocking sound coming from the wheels when i turn. more so when i am driving faster. i have had it on a ramp they said it could be the o/s/f cv joint want do you think. many thanks

firstly,check any wheel could catch a small stone.
if not, you may have a wheel patch or any like.
