2004 Renault Laguna Engine Vibration and Whirring/whinning

Hi again!

Can you please assist and confirm if you know the answer?

When travelling at the above subject speed I here a whinning and whirring noise around the speed at 50/60, the my car have beeen to renault cardiff for a diognostic check and its 100%, I am not loosing power and the car is running well, but the whinning is still there, however, I have had a new clutch fitted 27-03-2010, but still have the noise.

Do you know the answer please.

I would have the technicians test drive the vehicle to hear the noise. It may be inside the gearbox at higher gears (worn gears) if the noise is only at 50/60 MPH. These types of fault will not show up on a diagnostic scan !
