Electrical problem
2002 Renault Laguna 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 55000 miles
my laguna 2 will suddenly loose throttle control the revs go up to just above 2000 and the electrical fault warning light comes on when it has been turned off for a while it returns to normal until the next time revs also pulse when it is in this mode

you need to repair the fault that the code scanner is giving you, not just turn off the MIL to reset the computer ... repair the fault/sensor and the fault will not reappear on the cars computer and it will not go back into limp home mode !!
