i have put in a new timing belt and i cant get the timing right on it can you offer any solutions to the problem please the car is ticking over but there is a slipping in the timing please please please help me

There is a special tool on the market to lock the cam and crank in correct timing position whilst replacing the belt .. buy a repair manual to set the timing correctly and tensioner
