Tires and Wheels problem
2006 Renault Clio Two Wheel Drive Manual 99000 miles
My left rear wheel was heating up, to the point that there was smoke coming from the wheel. I am not sure which part of the wheel was heating up. I stopped at a petrol station and they poured cold on the wheel. It was fine after that. All the passneger that have sat on the left side of the back seat in my car have said that there is a funny sound coming from the wheel, that it sounds as if its flat- which never is. I stopped at a Workshop and they told me that my "barrings" have worn out and I need to change them. the workshop was quiet dodgy looking, so I haven't taken their advise- I wanted a second opinion.
