My lights will not turn off unless I indicate left and when I indicate right they go on, if I slightly touch the indicator my lights flash. Now my windscreen wipers only work if I pull it a certain way or if I am indicating left? Does this sound like a loose wire?

Sounds like a faulty steering column switch unit ! Replace the switches

This could be covered under a manufacturer's extended warrenty.
