I replaced my head and timing belt due to the old timing belt braking. After the head replacement car started fine and ran, took it out for the first ride after head replacement and oil light came on, it was popping and whining and noticed oil blowing out of exhaust. So got the car home asap and found turbo was bad, so I just replaced the turbo and Im still having the oil pressure problem. Car starts fine has full power, but after warm up and driving for 5 mins the light comes on and begins to burn oil. Im a little confused on what I should be attacking right now, I just found my PVC system Non functioning Im going to start there but I do not think this will solve oil pressure related issues. Pleas any help thinking would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Michevelle7004

The oil burning part sounds like the PCV system so definitely fix that first, Have you replaced the switch? If so, I would check the engine oil pressure with a manual gauge and then suspect the oil pump pick up being clogged, did you change the oil and filter after the repair? If not start there. Please let me know what happens
