I have a 1965 Oldsmobile dynamic 88 and has a 425 big block the engine has blowby on the driver's side I am planning on rebuilding the engine and I just don't know if it is safe to use the same pistons I'm going to have the heads done I've got a standard rebuild kit are got new lifters and new timing chain so my question was shown I be safe using the original pistons I am putting new rings on pistons

What do the pistons look like send a pic of them one at atime or if you see pieces eaten away in ring grooves or at top then don't reuse them. Make sure your cylinders are honed correctly and use the same piston form the hole it came
