Hello, I am hearing a rattling noise inside my car and traced it down to the plastic deflector behind the sunroof that rattles when going over bumps. It is driving me crazy and would like to know if there is a fix for it without taking the sunroof or headliner out?

Thanks for the video, it really helps. Not relay we need to get to the sunroof to replace the motor or to fix loose broken tracks. Here are the instructions of doing so in the diagrams below. Check out the diagrams (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.

Hello, thanks for the reply. My motor is working perfectly fine and I inspected the tracks for cracks and it’s fine as well. The sunroof slides down without any issues. The plastic deflector inside is what rattles and is causing the noise and I noticed that only one side rattles.

Yep, it will need to come apart to fix the rails and defector. Once you get it apart please upload pictures or videos of the problem.
