Question about light motor looks like a webcamera, motor light

Hello - I have a quick question I went to put gas in my car it's a Honda civic 2003, I left it running while putting gas, and afterwards this light turns on yellow motor one looks like a webcamera, a friend told me to unscrew the battery on the + side for 20 seconds and screw it back on and light should be okay, can that be the case, or other things I will try it by taking it to auto zone I don't have tools, usually car turns on great afterwards it did click click than turned on, after like the 2nd time but it usually does turn on and good car, I'm hoping that would be it, thx for feedback, where can someone do that for me, auto zone thx

The Engine Computer monitors the fuel supply and vapor recovery systems for a leak, and you created a major leak by removing the gas cap.

If you are going to remove a battery cable, you remove the negative cable so if the wrench slips it won't make any sparks. You don't have to resort to that insane method. If the Check Engine light doesn't turn off by itself after you restart the engine a few times, they can do that for you very quickly at most auto parts stores.
