my bmw automatic 330i se y reg 120k miles seemed lovely when i bought it a month ago off a friend of a friend that is a bmw mecanic. Until it started stuggling to pull away, but was fine when it got into 3rd 4th etc. The guy that recommended it now says it needs a new gearbox £1300 fitted he says for a recon box with 1 year guarantee. Is there a cheaper good option to this as I paid £1650 for the car and this seems an expensive resolution!
