Electrical problem
1999 Porsche 996 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 59500 miles

I have two issues.
# 1 my left blinker won't stay engaged. It appears something is broken. It will engage for right turns. THe dealer is saying $800. I want to repair myself but I am not sure what that entails. Please provide insight.

#2 My airbag light is staying on. We hooked it up to the computer and they were not able to reset. The car has not been in any accidents. What could be the problem.

I appreciate any insight on these two issues.
