2005 Pontiac Vibe AC/Heater Blower
Air Conditioning problem
2005 Pontiac Vibe 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 103,00 miles
The AC blower fan seldom works, and when it does there is only one speed. Sometimes if I turn on the AC while driving and leave a window cracked, the air suction created will cause the fan to turn on. When the brakes are applied the speed of the fan will slow-down or stop working entirely.
The AC compressor is working and cool air can be felt when the AC switch is engaged.
This seems to be a fairly common problem with various cars, but mine is strange in that it still occasionally works. I suspect a wiring short, loose connection, or cross-wiring but don't know how to approach fixing it. Any advice much appreciated!
