2001 Pontiac Trans Am Idle Speed Too High
2001 Pontiac Trans Am V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 157869 miles
Is the idle speed controled by a sensor, or can it be adjusted manualy like the timing? The problem is, the idle speed bounces from normal to high. When it's high, the transmission shifts are out of place. With the car in park, the RPM is about 800 or so. With the car in drive, it moves at about 10 mph without the accelerator pressed. If this issue is not the idle speed then what do you guys think it could be?
