1996 Pontiac Trans Am security system
Electrical problem
1996 Pontiac Trans Am V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 125000 miles
Have been unable to start vehicle. The security light flashes and the dash lights up but no starter engagement or sign that the connection is being made. The dash lights go out when turned to start but no other sound.Freash battery and starter will by-pass. Neautral switch OK.Have tried the 10 minute key on re-learn did not work this time. Happened once before and worked that time. Would like to de-activate security system if possible as the vehicle is not worth stealing anymore.
