I put my 96 5.7 and auto tranny and PCM in my 93 ta and Man I'm in trouble! I hooked every thing up under hood and switched 2 wires from connectors(for the fuel pump) and the TA ran man it was awsome! I put the cat on sounded even better. So I cut it off and I noticed a little hum from alternator not the air pump I have no idea why but I do know if I disconnect the red wire in 1 of connectors it stops but that controls the fuel pump. So anyways I said let me put some dextron 3 in the tranny and see what this thing will do. So I put it in there, then put the air controls in, then some moron cut the radio wires so I rewired it and put the radio from the 96 in it and nothing happened! It wouldn't come on then it blew a fuse so I knew the wires were crossed! So I crank the engine but it goes dead, so I disconnect the wires from radio where I rewired and disconnected the air controls put in new fuse then it cranked ran high for a few secs then cut off now it cranks for a 1/2 second then cuts off I am at a stand still and am in panic mode I don't no where 2 start its got gas in it the fuel pump is coming on it has 2 have spark 2 crank for a second. I need help if u could I don't no if my pcm is bad now or if the anti theft system is on the frtiz or what.

Sorry for the delay

This is not gonna be a gravy one a lot of troubleshooting involve multiple problems here. So be patient.

You should have 2 wires on back of the Alty which is the battery terminal black one and a brown, also check fuse no.9 and 4 in fuse block behind access door. Let me know

Check the fuel pressure if its within specs and get back with the readings so that we can continue and also make sure the injectors are pulsing too.

Ok I dont have a fuel pressure gauge but I do know a little about psi. So I disconnect my fuel line and turn on switch, gas pours out, so I disconnect my filter it does the same, so I'm guessing when its suppose 2 be at 41psi that it must be at about 15 psi right now since its not shooting out. And to test my theory we squirted gas in the intake and it ran so I'm guessing its the fuel pump I'll find out saturday. And if u can find wiring diagrams for the kick plate connector to be switched between the harnesses please let me know.

Ok I changed my fuel pump and its at about 45 psi, still doing the same thing if the fuel injectors ohms are over the specs are the injectors bad I don't have a test light so don't know if the are pulseing, is there another way 2 check, because if they are not wouldn't that be the pcm? I can spray the intake manifold and it cranks and runs bout 5 sec. Also checked spark bright wite good spark.

Ok I changed the tsp, ok so it will sometimes idle very high 2500rpm, but if u give gas goes dead, then the next time it cranks it lopes at idle. I checked the idle sensor right under the tps and it ohms fine and voltage is fine, but could it still be out? The coil ohms and voltage fine, can't find any vaccum leaks.
