Loss of driving control/steering/susp

Steering problem
1976 Pontiac Trans Am V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 80k miles

The normal rear ratio stock is 2.9 I had increased to 3.3(roughly) also stock motor is 400 I had rebuilt to 455 and the transmission upgraded from 350 to turbo 400 now when I accelerated quickly and let off the gas the car swerves drastically. A momentary loss of steering control. Like all the power pushes the car forward and then when I decelerate the whole car swerves the opposite of the movement the engine pushes(like engine mounting, loose, but affecting steering) Why could this be?

With upgrades like these, you may need to install frame rails, these connect the front sub frame to the rear, your body is probably twisting upon acceleration.
