Yesterday while driving my turn signals stopped working. On examination the left signal lights do work (after replacing fuse) but the right side and hazard lights do not. All the bulbs and fuses have been replaced as well as the multifunction switch. The right side flashes for a couple of times and then blows the 30 amp hazard fuse. Checking with a meter showed almost no power coming from the switch for the right side but full power for the left on the old switch (haven't checked the new one). Any ideas about what might be wrong?

Hi sunfire03,

Thank you for the donation.

A shorting has occurred somewhere causing the fuse to blow.
The hazard fuse should be 20 A and not 30 A as described.

Recheck the bulbs. Unplug all the signal bulbs and turning on the hazard lights. Wait and see if the fuse blows. If not, install each bulb at a time and check which causes the fuse to blow.
