How do you replace the thermostat in a 96 pontiac sunfire?

The thermostat should be at the end of the upper radiator hose. Start by removing the thermostat housing. (Should be a couple of small bolts). Once it is off you should be able to see the thermostat. Pull it and the old thermostat gasket out. Replace with new thermostat and thermostat gasket. Put housing back down and tighten bolts. Check to make sure your coolant level is still good and you should be on your way. Good luck and I hope this helps.
