1994 Pontiac Sunbird high idel
Engine Performance problem
1994 Pontiac Sunbird 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 130000 miles
my car is running at a high rpm i have problems starting it and i have changed my fuel pump, spark plus, spark plug wiring, coils, fuel pump relay, fuel fillter and nothing has changed it revse to 3000 rpms i have to start it with eather.

change the pcv valve and check/change the mapp sensor, you may also want to take a look at the egr. all possible culprits.

I'll bet your IAC is either stuck or has quit[idle air control motor]. Have you or your tech checked that? Sometimes it can be removed and cleaned with success.

that too. you may also want to clean the throttle plate too, if its carboned up, then it can stick open or closed
