1993 Pontiac Sunbird Repair Question

1993 Pontiac Sunbird choke?
When I first start my car, it will "rough" idle for a minute or two, and then I can "hear it smooth out".
My brother says that the "choke is doing its job".
What things do you think might be causiing the problem?

choke? is it electronic fuel injected? if so there is no choke. only carbed engines.
i woudl suspect a faulty IAC module for the rough idling first off.
maybe even a vaccum leak will cause this or dirty throttle body.
