Hi!
My car is a 1896 Trans Am, 305 TPI... when the A/C is on, the compressor vibrates and produces a grinding/moaning sound when engine rpm is less than 1,000. Then, it runs quite smooth. The compressor was very recently replaced.

how can I adjust the A/C-on-idle, so the engine rpm will stay above 1,000?
