Help from the master?

Hey guys need some help. I know im a ASE certifed tech and all, but the guys at the shop co workers and me cant figure this one out on my car..

ok so im rolling in a 2000 bonnvile pontiac 54 k

iv noticed lately when i turn the wheel to the left every once in a while I hear a grinding noise.. not everytime just sometimes. just replaced brakes, and power steering fluid and pump is in working order and good level.. what do you guys think? rack of pinion?

I'm sure youv'e checked that the front end is tight and bushings are good...hate to suggest the obvious but you might check tire clearances and shocks, when turning shocks compress and clearance can sometimes become an issue especially when encountering shocks that have weakened over time...Also you mentioned replacing the brakes, did you also try replacing the caliper guide bolts? Sometimes they can warp or scar causing the caliper not to retract completely...Hard question to answer since turning and braking tend to go hand in hand. Ha!Ha! Anyway, Best of Luck to you!
