i cant figure out what I would look for in the #1 bank

It has to do with the converter not being perceived as efiecient enough. Has the converter been replaced?

Yes about a year ago.
There is only one converter so why wouldnt both banks have a problem

If I could give you an intelligent answer on that I would. One possiblitly is a leak on that side that is allowing the exhaust gases to be altered. That will throw this code.

The code you show, suggests that if a converter was replace with one the varies from the original, such as a universal, the code will be thrown for that as well.
