Hi, I have a 1978 Pontiac Trans Am with 56,000 original miles, Im replacing the fuel pump and dont know what im doing. Ive looked in my repair manuel,but its not really clear as to how you reinstall. The lever, does that go a certain way, is there a knotch or something it fits into?? This is a new pump and my second time installing cuz the first time no fuel came out.
