Hello,
I have a 2001 pontiac montana with approx. 101,000 miles that over heats when driving in town. The cooling fans work but I see that they run slow in comparisson to other car I have. It does not over heat in freeway just in town or when I stop and keep engine running. Any suggestions?

I thank You

Remove the thermostat and test it not up to par replace it. Cheap fix.

Coolant level is it full? might want to flush out the heater core.
