2000 Pontiac Montana the rad leaks

the rad leaks only when the heat is on in the van.so i just wanted to know what it could be.and can i use diesel antifreeze in this van until i can get normal coolant?

are you sure it's the radiator leaking? or do you mean coolant is leaking? could be heater core at fault. need to use the correct coolant, not diesel coolant..
