how can i get more power out of the factory engine its a 350 small block. what can i do to it

teh best thing you can do to improve power is to put a set of headers on and make you exaust larger. Then, add a 4 barrel carb with a good intake with a low restriction air cleaner. there are other things you can do like a cam but it deppends on how much money you want to put in it. Remember it costs money to go fast and you lose fuel mileage as well.

More power generally means more monev. You might try advancing the timing a little at a time until you either have trouble starting, or get spark knock while driving. I don't know if a K&N air filter actually helps power that much or not, but it sure makes things sound a lot better. Good luck!
