1966 Pontiac GTO V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

What wires do I put a jumper on the key ignition switch connector in order to by pass the key switch to start the engine, so I can see if the key switch is faulty?

Just put a test light on the coil to see if you aregetting power there. If you have a clutch, the clutch pedal must be depressed in order for the car to start. And if it's an automatic your nuetral safety switch could be bad. YOu have to check that stuff first.
