2003 Pontiac Grand Prix egr valve
Engine Performance problem
2003 Pontiac Grand Prix 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 80,000 miles
got a code to replace egr valve and did. It made it better but did not fix the problem,loss of power ,dogs up hills and wont increase speed if givin to much gas.
could it be the covertor? or what?

Cat. converter probably clogged or EGR passageway may be clogged with carbon build-up. Clean out the passageway and have converter flow tested.
