Hi, I just bought a 99 grand prix gt, driving it for a while notice that the temperature gauge is not working at all. The radiator fan is not even working, I turned on the a/c to the max and the fan is not even turning on. So, I check the relays and fuses but they are all good. Im kinda in a hole right now because both of them are not working fan and temp. Gauge at the same time. Im afraid that it might over heat without me even knowing it and damage the vihicle. Any suggetion would greatly be appritiated. Thank you very much.

Find the temperature switch for the gauge and also the coolant temperature sensor test its resistances hot and cold.

Problem might be also the computer not getting a signal from the CTS and not activating the relays.

Get a voltmeter or test light and pull the connector off the fan motor, check for voltage! You can also run two wires from the battery, one from each post, touch them to the fan terminals, does fan operate? Keep us posted.
