Car would loose power going up hill and popped at 50 mph or on fast acceleration. We replaced air filter, fuel filter, and fuel pump. After replacements it got worse! Now it sounds like a pop corn machine. Worse driving than idling and died on me going up a small steep hill. Dont know what the popping is considered: misfire, backfire, or what?
