TROUBLE CODE

I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am SE, 3.4 V6, 108,000 miles. My car is sending out a code saying that my car is running below coolant temperature ( code number P0128)? What does this mean and what do I need to repair on my car to fix the problem?

Hey sexy  (lol,sorry!)
Some probable causes are, low coolant level in the system, thermostat is failing and needs to be replaced or coolant temp sensor has failed. I would check the coolant level and put a t-stat in it as a preventative maint. item, for good measure and go from there Let us know!
