1999 Pontiac Grand Am Repair Question

Trac off light stays lit on my 99 Pontiac Grand am SE 2.4 cy
I Just Bought a 1999 Pontiac Grand am and it drives great and when i bought it no lights were lit up. Today The Trac Off Light came on and stays on even if i have ETS button on. How can i fix this? I hope i was not scammed as i paid cash over $5k for this car... I am so scared Please HELP

If it was through a dealer , I would expect you would have a warranty on it.
If not you need to spend a few more dollars and get a code reader, or get the codes read, then we can go further.
There may be no codes, and you will probably have to have some troubleshooting done by a garage that is current on technology. You brakes will not be affected, but the abs may be.
Don't let it petrify you. Fear is what keeps us from getting into serious trouble. :wink:
