I have a2000 Pontiac Grand am gt 146,000 miles with a 3.4 v6. It keeps running hot and loosing coolant. We havent found any leaks.I can fill it up and it will be ok for a few days. What could be causing this problem?

Get a light and check on the drivers side below and to the right just a hair and see if there is coolant puddling there, also check the oil for chocolate milk and let me know what you find
