High beam indicator blinking

Just replaced the engine on a 1997 Grand am, now the high beam indicator lamp blinks while driving. Don't know if this is related to the swap or not????

Actually, the problem was that the a/c system was low on charge. It is in the same circut for the indicator lights.

I Had a 1996 Pontiac Grand am Gt and when the Daytime running lamps were not working that light was blinking as well as the Auto head lamp control. I'm suprised with the 97 that that light indicated you were low on Refridgerant. In mine when i was low on R134a My Check Engine Light came on..
