Car will not fire up

I have a 2002 Pontiac Grand AM. Mileage is 78337 with an engine of a Ecotec 2.2.

The car will turn over but will not fire. I have checked the fuel line and I am getting gas from that direction. I have a recently new battery. No lose belts nor cables. What else could be the problem?

Distributor? Or computer?

Check for spark also, if you have spark spray starting fluid in the throttle body if it fires up your not getting fuel and you should check for fuel pressure at the fuel rial.
