I have a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am GT with 50,100 miles. I noticed lately that when I apply or gently touch the brakes, it makes kind of a grinding/crunching sound thats definately coming from the pedal. The harder I apply the brakes, the louder it is. With the car started and in park, its not as loud as it is while I'm driving. You can hear it from the outside and inside of the vehicle. Any advice would be appreciated.
