I have a 2003 pontiac grand am , V6, with 76,000 miles. For atleast 3 months now when I am driving down the highway my car will die on me. All interior lights will come on when it does this. After it has stopped running it may take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours for it to start back. I had it checked by a mechanic and he could only narrow it down to the ignition. I have 3 kids in the car with me most of the time so you can imagine my distraught when it does this. So far I have been lucky enough to coast to saftey. If you can give me any info, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
