I have a 2001 grand am se and am having major problems. first of all my mileage is 123,000.all of my problems started 2 week ago when i noticed that the car felt like when i was accelerating the car was idling down and was pulling after it was switching gears (if that makes any sense to anyone?!). i was told to check my transmission fluid and so I filled it up.about 3 days later the car started driving normal again.now after 5 days its on to another problem. when i accelerate and take my foot off the gas the car does not slow down, it acts as if the cruise control is on and at times surges slightly. i also noticed that it is idling high sometimes at 2 when the car is in neutral. at this point i am not really sure what is wrong. can anyone give me any insight to this headache? and , are the 2 problems possibly related to one another?any help would be greatly appreciated!
