My suggestion is to definately replace the connector. I wouldn't always say that by my concern is what it is connected to and where it is at....fuel..........sometimes they leak, if for some reason it decided to spark then hard to start is the least of the problems.......putting it out would be the main thing.

I have attached two different pics of the plug....one is part number 12129140 and the other is 15326179.

If it were me, I would pick up the connector, if you don't have the pin extractor tool, then stop by a auto electrical shop and they could swap the connector out for you.
