1998 Pontiac Grand Am STARTER OR TUNE-UP

When I have to start my car up in the morning it starts up the 1st try. If I'm running errands (for instance, go to the grocery store--shut it off, get back in--start it up, go to the drug store--shut it off, get back in--start it up) I have to crank it up 3 times before it will start and stay running. It will keep dying on me until the third try.

Do I need a new starter or tune-up? I just had a tune-up done in August 2007.

Thanks!

Lets get the coolant temperature sensor, the idle air control valve, throttle position sensor and the fuel pressure check.
