We bought this grand am from my mom cuz it has no muffler and then the car turned off in the middle of the road and didn't turn back on til we let it sit overnight and my mom does'nt have funds to fix it. We put new spark plugs and wires along with fuel injector cleaner and within the past 5 days it has shut off twice and doesnt start til the next day. We put more fuel injecto cleaner in and it started again and after driving about 4 miles it turned off again. We think it might be the fuel injectors but I'm not sure. If it is, how do I find out and what can we do to fix it?Or does the problem sound like something else. Could you please help. Thank you.

When the problem occurs, have a helper crank it, while you visually check for spark at the plugs. If you have spark everywhere, use a gage and check fuel pressure. Some of the national brand autostores used to loan out a fuel pressure gage, if you don't have one. Any applicable mil codes? Also, an intermittent issue with rpm signal can drive you crazy.
