Power steering
1988 Pontiac Grand Am, 2.0 turbo (I think its 2.0, but it is the turbo), 88,000 miles.
I am losing power steering fluid, and I am adding it every other day.
No puddles/drips on the driveway, wheres it going?
Am I only losing it while I drive down the road?
Whats the most likely culprit, bad pump, bad hose or connection?
Is it an easy reapair for a backyard mechanic to replace the pump if needed.
Also, I asked about a new pump at the local parts store, and they asked me if it was with the reservoir, or without the reservoir? How do I tell?
Thanks
Scott
